Unusual Shifters

A slow-burn urban fantasy with misfit shifters, secret experiments, found family, and a reluctant bond she never asked for.

By day, Thalia funnels stolen money to the homeless and vulnerable.

By night, she slips through the city in a shifted form no one else has ever seen.

A cockroach.

In a world ruled by powerful predator shifters, Thalia is an embarrassment to her family—a black sheep who learned long ago that survival means staying invisible.

Her ability makes her the perfect thief. It also makes her valuable.

When she is captured by Rowen’s League of Unusual Shifters—a team of aberrant shapeshifters who don’t fit traditional pack hierarchies—Thalia is offered a deal: help them infiltrate a high-security research lab uncovering dangerous secrets about shifter genetics, and they will fund the families she protects.

But working beside Day—the unicorn mystic who claims her as his mate—forces Thalia to confront something far more dangerous than discovery.

Trust.

As unethical experiments and buried family secrets rise to the surface, Thalia must decide whether to remain the outcast hiding in the shadows…

Or stand with the only people who have ever seen her as more than a mistake.

Unusual Shifters is an urban fantasy of found family, secret identities, heists, and a heroine who must decide whether destiny defines her—or she defines herself.
